I had my first massage with Rasheem, and I can't wait to go back. I've struggled with shoulder and scapular pain for years, and whenever I get a massage, I always ask for extra attention to that area. Unfortunately, I often leave feeling like no one was able to get deep enough to address the problem.
Rasheem truly understood my concerns and knew exactly how to approach my shoulder and upper back. He was able to work through areas that had been causing me discomfort for a long time, and I honestly left feeling emotional because I finally experienced real relief. For the first time, I felt heard and understood.
We talked throughout the session (my choice), and I found him to be extremely knowledgeable, professional, and passionate about his work. While I know some people prefer light or medium pressure, I believe that getting the most benefit from a massage requires trust in your therapist. I had originally requested medium pressure, but during the session I told Rasheem that if deeper pressure was needed to help release the muscle tension, I was comfortable with that. Any temporary discomfort was absolutely worth the outcome.
I am so grateful for the experience and the relief I felt afterward. I highly recommend Rasheem and look forward to my next appointment....more

Great experience at Enlighten Massage! Very nice, clean and serene space for proper energy. I can honestly say as a result of continuing services with Rasheem I have gotten progressively better. At least four years ago I was in two severe accidents causing whip lash and one was a critical and hard impact by a drunk driver. I came in with tremendous and excruciating pain. After almost 5 years after having surgery on my ACL and still dealing with the pain and discomfort from it, I was able to finally have the relief I needed with the help from Rasheem. I booked a deep tissue massage and he found spots that I had no idea needed to be released from all the tension that had built up from work.
